Weight Loss Management
Have you been struggling with weight loss? There could be numerous barriers preventing your weight loss and here at Evolve Wellness investigate those barriers with a full panel of blood work.
We aren’t your typical clinic, med spa or virtual MD that isn’t going to put in the time to see what's potentially the issue and match your labs and medical history to an individualized care plan.
Not every weight loss medication is right for everyone.
We want to get to know you as a person, to understand your “why” of weight loss. We want to help you with a lifestyle change and will encourage adjusting your daily habits whether that’s drinking more water, increase or changing your physical activity routine, adjusting your diet if there is inflammation going on. We can help those who have been struggling for years or ones that are just “stuck” at a weight.
Our clinic often combines or stacks weight loss packages with medications and mineral supplements. Our clinic prescribes phentermine and phendimetrazine if one qualifies. These oral medications are appetite suppressants.
We also prescribe GLP-1s such as Semaglutide (ozempic/wegovy) and Tirzepatide (mounjaro /zep-bound). Our clinic prefers the use of Tirzepatide as it generally causes less side effects and faster results because it works on two hormones GLP-1 and GIP. One would have to perform a weekly subcutaneous injection (fatty tissue) injection either at home or we can have you come into the office. This weekly injection helps regulate insulin resistance to help decrease excess glucose in the bloodstream which in turn eventually leads to fat storage. This dual action of hormones team up to decrease hunger and increase satiety in the brain and stomach. Most patients do qualify for use of these GLP-1 but screening and lab work is an important safety step that shouldn’t be skipped.
There are several vitamins and minerals that should be supplemented to aid in weight loss goals and overall health. Our most popular stack to our weight loss plans include MICC. This is a Vitamin B12 injection that contains Methionine, Inositol, Choline, and Cyano to help the liver break up fat and transport it out of the body.
We also screen patients for inflammation so they can be started on a specific plan. There are many items that can help decrease inflammation besides diet modification such as BPC-157 or Magnesium.
